Start with Part 1 which revealed how Epstein’s millions, hidden for nine years, helped fund surveillance infrastructure now processing American 911 calls through companies linked to Israeli intelligence.
Intelligence Integration
By mid-2025, veterans of Israel’s intelligence units, especially Unit 8200, were visible across major U.S. technology companies. Public profiles and company announcements show dozens of alumni in senior and mid-level roles at Microsoft, Google, Apple, Meta, Intel, and Nvidia. One of the most prominent examples is Wiz, a cloud-security firm founded by four Unit 8200 veterans, which Google agreed to acquire for $32 billion in 2025. Exact numbers are not published, but mainstream reporting makes clear there is a consistent pipeline from Israeli intelligence service to U.S. technology firms.
But the pipeline connects to something darker. The same week Google announced its agreement to acquire Wiz, which would place four Unit 8200 founders in charge of cloud security infrastructure, new information emerged about Jeffrey Epstein’s investments. Court documents revealed that Epstein’s $40 million investment in Peter Thiel’s Valar Ventures, hidden for nine years, had grown to $170 million. This money helped fund the very companies now processing American emergency calls and government data.
Google’s announced $32 billion all-cash acquisition of Wiz in March 2025, pending regulatory approval, would embed four Unit 8200 co-founders into Google Cloud infrastructure. The all-cash nature of this deal is extraordinary. Google is committing to deploy nearly a third of its $110 billion cash reserves in a single transaction, making this the largest cash acquisition agreement in tech history. The willingness to pay entirely in cash, rather than the typical cash-and-stock structure that preserves liquidity, demonstrates the extreme strategic urgency Google places on immediately embedding Israeli intelligence expertise into its infrastructure once approved.
Assaf Rappaport, Ami Luttwak, Yinon Costica, and Roy Reznik met on their first day of military service in 2001. They served together in Unit 8200, then built multiple companies together. They sold Adallom to Microsoft for $320 million in 2015. They founded Wiz, which became the fastest startup ever to scale from $1 million to $100 million in annual recurring revenue. If regulatory approval is granted, Google will have embedded all four into its cloud infrastructure through a $32 billion all-cash transaction.
Palo Alto Networks, founded by Unit 8200 veteran Nir Zuk, is valued at $160 billion with $9.2 billion in fiscal year 2025 revenue. The company has acquired nearly half its portfolio companies from Israeli intelligence-linked firms. It holds a nine-figure multi-year Department of Defense Internet Operations Management contract, DoD Enterprise Software Initiative contracts covering the Intelligence Community, and certifications for the DoD Information Network Approved Products List and NSA’s Commercial Solutions for Classified program.
CyberArk, founded by Unit 8200 veteran Udi Mokady, was acquired by Palo Alto Networks for $25 billion in July 2025. The aggregate value of Unit 8200-founded companies exceeds $200 billion. At least five publicly traded United States companies worth a combined $160 billion as of August 2024 were founded by Unit 8200 veterans.
How did this happen? The pathway is systematic. Israeli recruits are selected at age 16-18 through rigorous aptitude testing. They serve typically three to five years developing advanced cyber warfare, data mining, and behavioral analytics capabilities in an environment described as run like a high-tech startup. They receive job offers three or more months before discharge with salaries 20 percent higher than Israeli tech industry average.
Team8, the primary accelerator, was founded by former Unit 8200 Commander Nadav Zafrir. It provides structured transition by identifying cybersecurity gaps, recruiting Unit 8200 alumni to found companies addressing those gaps, and connecting them to investors. Who are these investors? Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund. Eric Schmidt’s Innovation Endeavors. Cisco. Microsoft. AT&T. Accenture. Nokia.

The Thiel connection runs deeper than venture capital. In 2018, Founders Fund invested $15 million in Carbyne, marking the fund’s first investment in an Israeli company. Carbyne makes an emergency call platform that can extract device location, live video, text messages, and other data from phones during 911 calls. The company was co-founded by veterans of Unit 8200. It was chaired by Ehud Barak, former Israeli Prime Minister and Unit 8200 commander.
Here’s what remained hidden until recently: Epstein had invested approximately $1.5 million in Carbyne back in 2015 through his Southern Trust shell company. So Epstein put money in first. Then Thiel’s fund invested three years later in the same company. The timeline matters. In 2014, Epstein arranged a meeting between Thiel and Barak, insisting they spend “real time” discussing “geopolitics.” The following year, Epstein invested in Carbyne. Then he invested $40 million in Thiel’s fund. Then Thiel’s fund invested in Carbyne.
Major venture capital firms actively recruit people right as they’re leaving Unit 8200. Andreessen Horowitz created an entire program called a16z Speedrun specifically for Unit 8200 graduates, offering up to $1 million per startup. In August 2025, they held exclusive, invitation-only events in Tel Aviv just for alumni of elite IDF units. Sequoia Capital’s Israel branch has invested in 135 companies, and one of their partners, Shaun Maguire, said publicly that investing in Israel is “the smartest thing to do right now.” Greylock Partners runs a $1 billion AI-focused fund and says Israel is their busiest investment location outside of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Here’s the pathway into the U.S. market: Veterans come in on O-1 visas, which are special visas for people with “extraordinary ability” in business. Their Unit 8200 service counts as professional work experience. With premium processing, they can get approved in just 15 days.
Once they’re operating in the U.S. and have built up American commercial customers, these companies then go after government contracts. They pursue FedRAMP certifications, which allow you to sell cloud services to federal agencies. They get listed on the GSA Schedule, which is basically the government’s approved vendor catalog. They access DoD ESI contract vehicles, which are Defense Department buying agreements. Then they scale up their federal government sales through authorized resellers.
This isn’t random market success. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said explicitly at a 2019 cybersecurity conference that making Israel a top-5 cyber power is his deliberate national policy. The policy intentionally combines military intelligence, universities, and private companies. It specifically encourages graduates from military intelligence units to move into businesses with both Israeli and foreign partners.
In 2017, Mossad created its own venture capital fund called Libertad. It works like the CIA’s In-Q-Tel fund, which invests in tech startups that develop capabilities the intelligence agency wants. Libertad invests about $580,000 per year in each company it backs, focusing on robotics, encryption, web intelligence, and natural language processing. In exchange for the investment, Mossad gets the right to use whatever technology these companies develop. They can’t sell it commercially, but they can use it for intelligence operations. Here’s the key difference: the CIA’s In-Q-Tel publicly lists which companies it invests in. Libertad keeps its investments completely secret.
What This Actually Means
Let’s be clear about what we’re looking at. A foreign intelligence service has systematically placed over 1,400 of its veterans into American tech companies and critical infrastructure. The FBI and CIA rank this intelligence service among the top counterintelligence threats to the United States, right alongside Russia, China, and Iran.
This placement happens with support from Israel’s government (Netanyahu’s explicit policy), venture capital firms where Thiel is a major investor, and fast-tracked O-1 visas that get approved in 15 days. Once these veterans are in the U.S., they build companies that win contracts with the U.S. government, giving them access to classified information and critical systems.
These same companies and the people running them maintain active partnerships with Israeli military and intelligence units conducting operations abroad. Take Palantir, which Thiel co-founded. It supplies AI targeting systems to the Israeli military and intelligence. CEO Alex Karp has bragged publicly that their targeting speed runs from the moment algorithms detect a target until that target is killed in no more than two to three minutes. A Norwegian asset manager called Storebrand got so concerned about potential war crimes that they sold off $24 million worth of Palantir shares.
The timing pattern matters here. Many of the biggest contracts and acquisitions happened between 2020 and 2025. Palo Alto got its DoD contracts in June 2022. Palantir signed its partnership with Israel’s Defense Ministry in January 2024. Google announced the Wiz acquisition in March 2025. Palo Alto bought CyberArk in July 2025. This acceleration happened during the exact period when people connected to Thiel held key positions in the Trump administration overseeing defense and technology policy.
The Emergency Infrastructure Capture
Carbyne’s reach into American emergency systems deserves special scrutiny. The company now operates in Atlanta, New Orleans, Charleston County, Wyoming Highway Patrol, Florida Highway Patrol, and dozens of other jurisdictions. Through a partnership with AT&T, Carbyne has integrated into nationwide 911 infrastructure. The company claims to protect 400 million people globally.
When you call 911 in these jurisdictions, Carbyne can remotely turn on your smartphone camera, track your exact GPS location, run AI analysis to predict patterns, and stream live video from the emergency scene. This isn’t speculation. They advertise these capabilities on their website. They raised $100 million in July 2025. Their U.S. revenue jumped 400 percent between 2023 and 2024.
Look at who advises this company. Michael Chertoff and Kirstjen Nielsen, both former Secretaries of Homeland Security, sit on Carbyne’s advisory board. So does Trae Stephens, who co-founded Palantir with Thiel and led Trump’s Department of Defense transition team in 2016. The company is run day-to-day by Unit 8200 veterans. It’s chaired by Ehud Barak, a former Israeli Prime Minister who also commanded Unit 8200 intelligence operations. It received funding from both Epstein and Thiel. And it’s advised by former U.S. homeland security leadership.
Think about what this means in practice. Every person who calls 911, whether they’re a politician, judge, CEO, or ordinary citizen, potentially has their worst moment captured by infrastructure linked to foreign intelligence. Domestic violence calls. Mental health crises. Medical emergencies. Confessions made in panic. Deaths. This isn’t really about privacy. It’s about leverage.
Traditional blackmail (the Russians call it kompromat) requires gathering specific compromising material on specific people. You need to target individuals, collect evidence, and store it. But when you control emergency response systems processing millions of calls every single day, you don’t need targeted operations anymore. You have wholesale collection happening automatically. The system’s architecture creates its own protection. People with the power to investigate this know their own vulnerabilities might be in that data. People without vulnerabilities don’t have enough power to do anything about it.
The Constitutional Workaround
The Fourth Amendment prevents the U.S. government from conducting mass surveillance on American citizens. But here’s the key: it doesn’t prevent foreign companies from collecting that data. It doesn’t prevent private companies from processing it. And it doesn’t prevent third parties from sharing it back to U.S. agencies. This isn’t a loophole they’re exploiting. This is the business model.
When Carbyne, an Israeli company, collects emergency call data on Americans, the U.S. Constitution doesn’t apply to them. They’re a foreign company. When that data gets shared back to U.S. intelligence agencies, it’s treated as foreign intelligence. The government gets surveillance capabilities it couldn’t legally deploy directly on its own citizens.
This may explain something Alexander Acosta reportedly said about Epstein. Acosta was the U.S. Attorney who gave Epstein his controversial 2008 plea deal that let him avoid serious prison time for sex trafficking children. He reportedly told Trump transition officials: “I was told Epstein ‘belonged to intelligence’ and to leave it alone.” There’s an 11-month gap in Acosta’s emails that lines up exactly with the period when he was negotiating Epstein’s plea deal. If Epstein was helping fund companies that enable these constitutional workarounds, if a child sex trafficker’s money was building infrastructure that gives intelligence agencies capabilities they’re legally prohibited from developing themselves, then protecting him gets reframed as protecting intelligence operations rather than what it actually was: letting a predator continue operating because he was useful.
The evidence gaps at critical moments take on new meaning when you consider this. Acosta’s missing emails during the plea negotiations. The surveillance footage that disappeared from Epstein’s first suicide attempt. The camera failures during his death. Official investigations blamed each incident on technical failures. But if intelligence agencies were protecting a sex trafficker who was useful to them, making evidence disappear would be trivial. The same capabilities used for surveillance can easily be used to protect the people who help enable that surveillance.
The Money Laundering Through Justice
A perverse circle has emerged from the Epstein estate. Epstein’s victims are receiving compensation from his estate. The estate’s primary asset is that Valar Ventures investment, now worth $170 million. That investment funds surveillance infrastructure that could enable future victimization.
Think about what this might actually mean. Victims could be being paid with returns from systems that could facilitate intelligence operations, compromise officials, and get around constitutional protections. Every settlement check these victims receive could carry returns from Carbyne’s emergency surveillance capabilities, from companies that can remotely turn on smartphone cameras during 911 calls, from infrastructure that creates leverage over anyone in crisis.

Has justice become a money laundering operation for intelligence infrastructure? Is the money that should represent accountability for a child sex trafficker’s crimes being transformed into fuel for systems that enable the very dynamics of power and control that made those crimes possible in the first place? This circular flow reveals something fundamental about how power protects itself. Even when caught, even when prosecuted, even when dead, the networks endure. The money continues flowing. The infrastructure keeps building. The surveillance expands. And the victims themselves become unwitting participants in perpetuating the system.
Institutional Capture: The Thiel Administration
The Trump administration installed over a dozen people connected to Thiel in key positions. Bloomberg described it as Musk and Thiel effectively acquiring the United States government. The network extends throughout the executive branch.
JD Vance serves as Vice President after working at Thiel’s Mithril Capital and receiving $15 million in campaign support from him. David Sacks, who co-founded the Stanford Review with Thiel and worked with him at PayPal, became AI and Crypto Czar. Michael Kratsios, former chief of staff at Thiel Capital, was confirmed as Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Jacob Helberg, a Palantir adviser who’s married to PayPal Mafia member Keith Rabois, was nominated as Under Secretary of State.
The Department of Government Efficiency, led by Elon Musk, is heavily staffed with people from Thiel’s network. Clark Minor, who worked at Palantir for 13 years, became Chief Information Officer at HHS. Colin Carroll moved from Anduril to Chief of Staff to the Deputy Secretary of Defense. Multiple former Palantir employees joined DOGE as recruiters and analysts. Jim O’Neill, former CEO of the Thiel Foundation, was nominated to head the CDC.
Think about what this positioning enables. Kratsios managed the $106 billion Pentagon research and development budget as Acting Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering in Trump’s first term, during the same period when Palantir was deepening its partnerships with the Israeli military. Stephens led the Department of Defense transition while serving on Carbyne’s advisory board. Sacks was appointed AI Czar while Thiel’s portfolio companies position themselves for AI contracts. These create structural conflicts of interest between personal financial interests, foreign intelligence relationships, and United States national security oversight.
Since Trump took office in January 2025, Palantir has received $113 million in new contracts from DHS and the Pentagon. A $30 million ICE contract for something called ImmigrationOS creates near real-time tracking for deportations, combining data from passports, Social Security records, IRS records, license plates, and more. Critics describe it as building the infrastructure of a police state.
The financial payoff has been extraordinary. Palantir stock surged 200 percent from the day before Trump’s election through mid-2025, adding billions to Thiel’s net worth. Government contracts represent approximately 67 percent of Palantir’s revenue, and with the Trump administration’s aggressive expansion of surveillance and data integration, the company is positioned for massive growth. All while sitting on $40 million from a child sex trafficker that remained hidden for nine years.
From Seeing Stones to Killer Drones: Thiel’s Tolkien Inspired Arsenal
Thiel is not just embedded in government through Palantir. He is building an entire constellation of defense startups to challenge traditional contractors. The crown jewel is Anduril Industries, founded in 2017 by Palmer Luckey and Trae Stephens. Luckey is the guy who sold Oculus to Facebook for $2 billion. Stephens is a partner at Founders Fund and a former Palantir executive.
Here’s where it gets telling: Palantir is named after the seeing stones in Lord of the Rings, the crystal balls that let you spy across vast distances. Anduril is named after Aragorn’s sword in the same trilogy. Thiel is obsessed with Tolkien, and he’s naming his surveillance and weapons companies after artifacts of power from fantasy literature. Anduril produces autonomous drones, counter-drone systems, border surveillance towers, and AI command-and-control software.
In June 2025, Founders Fund led a $2.5 billion funding round for Anduril, with Thiel personally investing $1 billion of that. This represents the largest single investment in Founders Fund’s history. The round valued Anduril at $30.5 billion, more than doubling from $14 billion just months earlier. The company is building a $1 billion manufacturing facility in Ohio and secured a potential $9 billion contract for autonomous aircraft.
In December 2024, Anduril and Palantir formed a consortium with SpaceX, OpenAI, Scale AI, and Saronic to challenge traditional defense contractors for major Pentagon programs. The group is competing to take over Microsoft’s $22 billion Army headset program. They’re positioning themselves as the “neoprimes,” meaning new prime contractors using AI and autonomy to disrupt the old guard: Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and Northrop Grumman.
The network extends to Europe. Thiel has invested in Quantum Systems, Germany’s first dual-use unicorn (meaning it serves both civilian and military purposes) producing drones. He’s invested in Stark, a Berlin-based attack drone startup. In Helsing AI, a defense AI company partnering with Palantir. In Nordic Air Defence, which produces Swedish counter-drone missiles. This represents a coordinated strategy to build Western defense infrastructure around autonomous systems, AI, and software. The exact domains where Thiel’s network dominates.
The funding for this defense empire traces back to multiple sources, including the $40 million from Epstein. That investment was made when Epstein was already a convicted sex offender. It has since grown to help fund companies now competing for billions in Pentagon contracts. The money that came from trafficking and exploiting children now funds systems for tracking, targeting, and eliminating human beings with algorithmic efficiency.
Four documented money trails totaling over $2 billion show how billionaire donors move money through multiple nonprofit layers to specific policy outcomes while staying completely anonymous. The legal structures they use include 501(c)(4) “social welfare” organizations that don’t have to disclose donors, donor-advised funds where grants get credited to the fund sponsor rather than the actual donor, and trusts specifically organized to avoid revealing basic details.
Barre Seid’s $1.6 billion donation is the largest political contribution in U.S. history. In April 2020, Seid transferred 100 percent ownership of Tripp Lite to the newly created Marble Freedom Trust, a 501(c)(4) controlled by Leonard Leo. When Eaton Corporation bought Tripp Lite for $1.65 billion in March 2021, Seid avoided up to $400 million in taxes by donating stock before the sale rather than cash after. The full $1.6 billion went to Marble Freedom Trust, which was set up as a trust rather than a corporation specifically to avoid disclosure requirements.
According to IRS filings, Marble Freedom Trust gave out approximately $230 million, including $153 million to Rule of Law Trust, a shadowy nonprofit with no public presence and Leo listed as the sole employee, and $16.5 million to Judicial Crisis Network for federal court judicial campaigns.
Schwab Charitable Fund made grants of over $141 million each year in 2022-2023 to Leonard Leo’s 85 Fund, representing approximately 95 percent of the 85 Fund’s revenue. These grants matched money flowing from Marble Freedom Trust to Schwab Charitable, creating a circular flow that hides the original donor’s identity. Schwab Charitable distributed $54.1 million to 50 Project 2025 organizations since 2020. There’s no requirement for Schwab to disclose which donor account made which grant.
DonorsTrust raised $1.1 billion in 2021, with single donations over $425 million from anonymous sources. The Thiel Foundation donated over $10 million to DonorsTrust between 2020-2022. DonorsTrust funneled $16.5 million to Project 2025 advisory board organizations in 2022 alone.
In 2019, Vance co-founded the Rockbridge Network with minimum commitments of $100,000 per year. Donors include Thiel and Rebekah Mercer, who simultaneously serves as Heritage Foundation trustee and Heritage Action for America board member. The money flows through five layers, each adding more secrecy, until the original donors become untraceable while their preferred policies get drafted, promoted, and implemented.
The Epstein money adds another dimension to these dark flows. His $40 million investment in Thiel’s fund remained hidden for nine years, during which time it grew to $170 million. During those nine years, the money was working, funding companies, generating returns, all while its source remained concealed. How many other such investments remain hidden? How much dark money traces back to intelligence operations, foreign governments, or criminal enterprises?
Evidence Gaps: Technical Failures or Something Else?
Three major pieces of evidence disappeared at critical moments in Epstein-related cases. Acosta’s emails during the plea deal negotiations in 2007-2008. Surveillance video from Epstein’s first suicide attempt on July 23, 2019. Camera footage during Epstein’s death on August 10, 2019. Official investigations blamed each one on technical or procedural failures rather than intentional deletion.
The 11-month email gap happened to Alexander Acosta, the U.S. Attorney handling Epstein’s case, during the exact period when prosecutors were negotiating Epstein’s controversial plea deal. From approximately mid-2006 through September 2007, while they hammered out the Non-Prosecution Agreement that let Epstein avoid serious prison time, Acosta’s incoming emails simply vanished. Nobody discovered this gap for over 12 years, until the DOJ Office of Professional Responsibility investigated in 2019-2020.
The investigators reviewed over 850,000 emails from five prosecutors and six additional witnesses. They questioned Acosta and numerous administrative staff. Their conclusion? The gap was most likely a technological error with no evidence of intentional deletion. But consider the timing: the gap occurred precisely during plea negotiations, wasn’t discovered for over 12 years, and happened in a system where no alerts existed to flag such gaps.
The missing surveillance video from July 23, 2019 followed Epstein’s first apparent suicide attempt at Metropolitan Correctional Center. Federal prosecutors weren’t notified until January 2020, six months later, that the video no longer existed. MCC staff had accidentally preserved video from the wrong tier due to a clerical error in the computer system. A backup system existed, but that video was also gone and had been since at least August 2019 due to technical errors.
On August 9-10, 2019, when Epstein died, cameras in his actual cell malfunctioned and didn’t record anything. Nearby cameras showed a missing minute, jumping from 11:58:59 PM to midnight. The House Oversight Committee later released what they claimed was complete footage in September 2025. Forensic analysis revealed the footage wasn’t raw as claimed but appeared to be a screen recording possibly edited using Adobe Premiere Pro.
Common patterns emerge across all three incidents. No real-time monitoring. Delayed discovery ranging from six months to over 12 years. Backup systems failing in each case. No identified responsible parties. Long-standing system problems that never got fixed.
But who actually had access to these systems? U.S. Attorney’s Office IT staff could access Acosta’s email system. Bureau of Prisons personnel, the FBI (which seized the DVR system five days after Epstein’s death), the DOJ Office of Inspector General, and NICE Systems contractors all had access to MCC surveillance.
NICE Systems is an Israeli company with deep roots in Israeli intelligence and military sectors. So the surveillance system in the prison where Epstein died was managed by contractors from an Israeli company, during the same period when, as Acosta reportedly said, Epstein “belonged to intelligence.” The publicly available reports didn’t disclose which specific IT service providers and contractors were involved beyond naming NICE Systems.

Official investigations blamed the gaps on technological errors and long-standing system problems rather than intentional misconduct. The fact that nobody was identified as responsible and backup systems failed across multiple agencies suggests systemic institutional failure. But consider what we’re looking at: the precise timing of these failures at critical moments, the delayed discovery that allowed evidence to become permanently unavailable, the concentration of all these gaps around one specific case, and the involvement of Israeli-connected technology in the surveillance system. These factors raise serious questions about whether these were really just technical problems.
What was Epstein doing during these evidence gaps? Between his 2008 plea deal and his first documented meeting with Ehud Barak in April 2013, Epstein kept operating. He founded Gratitude America Ltd. in 2012, a private foundation that backed organizations celebrating American ideals. He sponsored conferences at MIT. He maintained active business entities including Epstein Interests, J. Epstein Virgin Islands Foundation, and C.O.U.Q. Foundation.
April 2013 marked his first documented meeting with Barak. The two men met approximately 36 times through 2017. This relationship led to Barak taking a trip to Mongolia that Epstein facilitated, which resulted in an Israel-Mongolia security agreement. By 2014, Epstein was playing matchmaker, arranging meetings between Barak and Thiel. By 2015, Epstein was writing checks, investing in both Carbyne and Thiel’s fund.
Life Extension: The Death of Death
Thiel’s most personal crusade reveals something fundamental about his worldview. He wrote in 2009 that he stands against “the ideology of the inevitability of the death of every individual.” This isn’t metaphorical. Thiel genuinely believes death is a problem that can be solved, and he’s invested heavily in making it happen.
He’s donated over $7 million to the Methuselah Mouse Prize foundation and SENS Research Foundation, led by biogerontologist Aubrey de Grey, which targets seven types of age-related cellular damage. He co-invested with Jeff Bezos in Unity Biotechnology, which raised over $300 million and went public in 2018 to develop drugs targeting senescent cells (aging cells). When the lead drug failed Phase II trials in 2020, the stock crashed 60 percent, but Thiel continues funding longevity research through multiple channels.
His personal anti-aging routine includes a paleo diet, regular exercise with a personal trainer, and human growth hormone pills to maintain muscle mass. He’s registered with Alcor Life Extension Foundation for cryonic preservation after death, though he admits he doubts it will work. He aims to live to 120 years old.
In a 2015 interview, Thiel mentioned his interest in “parabiosis stuff,” which means transfusing young blood into older individuals. This showed massive rejuvenating effects in mice experiments from the 1950s. Media reports suggested Thiel Capital’s medical director contacted Ambrosia, a startup offering young blood transfusions to paying customers. In 2019, the FDA issued warnings against such treatments. Thiel later described the media coverage as a deliberate attempt to portray him as an evil genius.
Meanwhile, Epstein, who was fascinated by eugenics, cultivated relationships with scientists at MIT and Harvard, funding research into genetic engineering and artificial intelligence. He spoke openly about wanting to seed the human race with his DNA. He hosted dinners with Nobel laureates and leading researchers, always probing for ways to transcend biological limits.
The timing of their financial relationship lines up with both men’s intensified pursuit of life extension. Epstein’s $40 million investment in Thiel’s fund came in 2015-2016, precisely when both men were exploring radical longevity technologies. The money that funded surveillance infrastructure also connected two individuals who believed they deserved to transcend the limits that bind ordinary people.
The philosophical foundation comes from both Christianity and transhumanism. Christian theology promises literal resurrection. Thiel takes this seriously, viewing anti-aging research as morally obligatory. He argues that in practice, it will always be framed in terms of specific interventions like curing Alzheimer’s or treating muscle loss with age, and “it seems to me in every instance the moral answer has to be yes, we should do this.” Death is not part of the natural order to be accepted but an enemy to be defeated through technology.
So what does this mean about Thiel’s worldview? Democracy decays. Women’s suffrage destroyed capitalist democracy. Elites must govern through noble lies. Technology provides escape from politics into cyberspace, outer space, and seasteading. Death itself is an enemy to be defeated. The common thread seems to be the rejection of limits, whether democratic, moral, or biological, in favor of technological work-arounds available only to those with resources.
The System That Protects Itself
So why does nothing happen? How do we know all of these things but nothing changes? There seem to be overlapping layers of protection:
Bipartisan Contamination: The Epstein network touched Clinton (26+ flights), Trump (called him a “terrific guy”), and Gates (met with him after conviction). Both parties have exposure. Investigating means risking your own party’s secrets coming out.
Too Big to Fail: By 2007, these systems were already embedded everywhere. Billions in contracts. Critical infrastructure. Stock market implications. Unwinding this would trigger a financial crash. Pension funds, index funds, retail investors are all exposed to companies built on intelligence money.
The Blackmail Paradox: If compromising material exists on officials, then the people who might be compromised are the ones controlling the investigations. When emergency call data flows through Carbyne, when Palantir processes government communications, when the surveillance infrastructure itself holds the secrets, the system protects itself.
Foreign Dependency: U.S. intelligence relies on Israeli tech for capabilities it can’t legally develop itself. Exposing this means admitting systematic constitutional violations. It means acknowledging that American intelligence agencies get around American law by partnering with foreign companies.
Normalization Through Transparency: These companies don’t hide. They issue press releases. They give keynote speeches. They announce funding rounds. By operating openly, they transform what should be scandalous into what appears inevitable. Carbyne celebrates its emergency call capabilities. Palantir brags about government integration. The audacity itself becomes camouflage.
Intelligence Immunity: When someone “belongs to intelligence,” normal law enforcement breaks down. Prosecutors get told to back off. Emails disappear. Evidence gaps emerge. The intelligence designation creates a parallel legal system where different rules apply.
What This Means
By 2025, Peter Thiel has achieved something unprecedented. His protégé serves as Vice President. His companies process the government’s most sensitive data. His network controls technology policy, defense budgets, and AI regulation. His investments dominate emerging defense technologies. His philosophical framework explicitly rejects democratic governance in favor of elite rule. And critical parts of how this network operates, including the $40 million from a child sex trafficker who “belonged to intelligence,” remained hidden for nine years.
This concentration of power in unelected hands raises serious questions about how power actually works in America. Thiel has stated clearly that he no longer believes freedom and democracy are compatible. He has questioned women’s suffrage. He has advocated for elite governance over mass politics. He has built companies enabling unprecedented surveillance while funding political candidates who propose defying courts and firing civil servants en masse.
His philosophical influences include Carl Schmitt, a Nazi political theorist who emphasized identifying enemies and concentrating power in sovereign decision-makers. Critics describe him as building parallel governance inside the state itself, a complete network of private companies, personnel, and relationships that exercise government functions without democratic accountability.
Palantir processes intelligence data on millions of Americans without meaningful oversight. Anduril will produce autonomous weapons systems with lethal capabilities. The Trump administration’s data integration agenda, executed largely through Palantir, could create a master database unprecedented in scope. The company’s CEO brags about reducing the time from target identification to killing.
The Carbyne infrastructure adds another dimension. Emergency calls from 400 million people globally flow through systems built by Israeli intelligence veterans, funded by a child sex trafficker’s money, invested in by Thiel’s fund, and advised by former U.S. homeland security officials. When you call for help in your worst moment, that data potentially flows to foreign intelligence.
Thiel’s defenders argue he’s simply succeeding in a competitive environment. Palantir has helped locate terrorists, assisted Ukraine against Russian invasion, and improved military intelligence. His investments have created thousands of jobs and advanced technology.
The deeper issue is systemic. When single individuals can fund entire law firms to destroy media outlets, place protégés in the Vice Presidency, embed their companies so deeply in government infrastructure that removal becomes unthinkable, maintain hidden financial relationships with convicted sex offenders that remain undisclosed for nearly a decade, and facilitate systematic integration of foreign intelligence veterans into critical infrastructure, all while operating with minimal transparency we have to wonder, who actually governs?
The documented intersection at Carbyne, where Epstein’s money, Thiel’s venture capital, Israeli intelligence expertise, and former U.S. homeland security leadership all converge in a company with access to nationwide emergency call data, represents the clearest example. But what remains hidden? The Epstein investment took nine years to surface. What other relationships, investments, and coordination remain undocumented?
Look at when the major contracts and acquisitions happened. They concentrated between 2020 and 2025, the exact period when Thiel’s people held key positions overseeing defense and technology policy. Kratsios was managing the Pentagon’s $106 billion research and development budget while Palantir was deepening its partnerships with the Israeli military. Stephens was leading the Department of Defense transition team while sitting on Carbyne’s advisory board. Sacks got appointed AI Czar while Thiel’s portfolio companies were positioning themselves for AI contracts.
Think about what this means. These people have personal financial stakes in companies that benefit from decisions they’re making or influencing in government positions. They have relationships with foreign intelligence through these same companies. And they’re supposed to be providing oversight on U.S. national security. The conflicts of interest exist whether anyone acts on them or not. Just the appearance of this kind of conflict, in positions this sensitive, should trigger major scrutiny. Instead, the appointments go through, the contracts keep flowing, and the integration gets deeper.
Thiel Thinks in Decades, Not Years
Thiel spent nine years secretly destroying Gawker for outing him as gay. He cultivated Vance for over a decade before placing him as Vice President. He kept Palantir private for 17 years, building government dependency before going public. His time horizons stretch far beyond normal political or business cycles. This patience, combined with massive resources and a systematic approach to building networks, makes him extraordinarily difficult to counter. By the time anyone realizes what’s happening and tries to organize opposition, his position is already locked in.
The Questions That Need Answering
What happens when someone who explicitly rejects democratic governance accumulates this much power outside democratic channels? What happens when that person hid a financial relationship with a convicted child sex trafficker for nine years? What happens when foreign intelligence veterans get systematically integrated into critical infrastructure with his help? What happens when evidence disappears at critical moments and everyone blames technical problems despite the suspicious timing?
These aren’t meant to be rhetorical questions. They’re the questions investigative journalism exists to answer. But here’s the problem: when one billionaire has already demonstrated he’s willing to spend $10 million over five years conducting a covert legal campaign to destroy a media outlet, how many journalists will investigate as aggressively as this story demands? This is what a chilling effect looks like in action. And it’s exactly what makes Thiel’s approach to dealing with opposition so effective. I am hoping that because everything I am sharing is already available I am not making myself a target. I hope.
Patient Power
The networks Thiel has built over 30 years show that patient, systematic accumulation of strategic positions can create influence that rivals elected officials. This influence lasts across different administrations and operates with almost no transparency. Whether you think this represents entrepreneurial genius or a dangerous consolidation of unaccountable power probably depends on one thing: Do you agree with Thiel that democracy is, as he argues, decadent and exhausted? Or do you believe that power needs democratic accountability to stay legitimate?
The Architecture of Capture
The evidence shows a systematic replacement of democratic governance with corporate-intelligence networks operating above national laws. This isn’t corruption within the system. It’s the construction of an entirely new system.
Corporate Sovereignty: Decisions affecting millions of people get made in boardrooms, not voting booths. When Carbyne rolls out new surveillance capabilities, nobody votes on it. When Palantir integrates new data sources, no legislature approves it. When Anduril builds autonomous weapons, no referendum happens.
Intelligence Synthesis: The public-private divide has collapsed. Corporations ARE intelligence agencies now. The distinction between Palantir and the CIA, between Carbyne and Mossad, between private surveillance and state surveillance has dissolved. The companies are the intelligence agencies.
Crisis Exploitation: Every emergency expands surveillance authority. Each 911 call feeds the system. Each crisis justifies new capabilities. The infrastructure built for emergencies becomes permanent, comprehensive, inescapable.
Constitutional Obsolescence: Laws get bypassed through jurisdictional games. Israeli companies collect American data. Foreign intelligence veterans process domestic communications. Constitutional protections become irrelevant through corporate middlemen.
Financial Laundering: Justice becomes a vehicle for funding surveillance. Epstein’s victims get paid with returns from the very systems that could enable future victimization. Crime literally funding the infrastructure of control.
The companies aren’t hiding any of this. Executives give keynotes about it. They issue press releases. They celebrate funding rounds. They don’t need secrecy when they have inevitability.
What Happens Next
The next phase is already visible. The $30 million ICE contract for deportation infrastructure. The billions flowing to Anduril for autonomous weapons. The expansion of Carbyne into more emergency systems. The integration of all these platforms into a comprehensive surveillance apparatus that could make China’s social credit system look primitive.
What’s certain is that Thiel’s influence has reached its peak. His protégé serves as Vice President. His companies process the most sensitive government data. His network controls key policy positions. His investments dominate emerging technologies explicitly designed to operate beyond democratic control. And critical parts of how this network operates, like the $40 million from a child sex trafficker who “belonged to intelligence,” stayed hidden for nine years.
The infrastructure exists right now. It’s processing your emergency calls. It’s analyzing government data. It’s making decisions that affect millions of people. It was funded by a sex trafficker who “belonged to intelligence,” built by people who explicitly reject democratic principles, and protected by a system that benefits from its existence.
The question isn’t whether this is happening. The documentation proves it is. The question is whether American democracy has already ended. Not with a bang, not with martial law, not with cancelled elections, but with a board meeting, a venture capital investment, and a government contract.
The most chilling finding of this investigation is that they built it in the open, told us what they were doing, and we let them.
What else remains hidden? And what does it mean for democracy when the most sophisticated power network in modern American history operates largely in the shadows, built by someone who has explicitly rejected democratic governance as compatible with freedom, funded by money from a sex trafficker who operated with intelligence protection?
If you ever have to dial 911, that call may be flowing through infrastructure built by foreign intelligence, funded by a sex trafficker’s money, controlled by someone who believes democracy and freedom are incompatible.
That is the system we have allowed to be built. The question we’re left with: is it too late to stop it?

Re Part 2, amazing what we don’t/chose not to know. How you followed these leads and put it all together for us takes genius in my view. Although sickening and feeling like I couldnt go on but did, your research makes me want to share and bellow out loud. Rage I guess is my response. Thank you, Kate. I’m exhausted.
